The Good Friday Tenebrae Service will be at St. Bernard this year at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18th (Good Friday). What is a Tenebrae Service?? This ancient Holy Week prayer service is a reflection on the death of Christ that employs prayers, darkness and noise. Tenebrae Services evoke a powerful reflection on Christ’s Death. The vanishing light in the church from the extinguished candles reminds us that we, as sinners, without Christ, “dwell in darkness.”
