Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten

Saint Bernard Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten is a Paths to Quality, Level 4 program and has been nationally accredited by AdvancED.

At Saint Bernard Preschool, we offer age-appropriate preschool programs focused on helping your child prepare for kindergarten. Your child will enjoy high quality instruction as well as plenty of free play and center time learning in a fun environment.

For 2020-2021, we will offer the following program options:

Preschool (ages 3-4)

• Available to students ages 3 – 4 who will not be attending Kindergarten the following year.
• Our preschool educational program takes place Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:45-10:45 a.m.
• Extended care is available from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for students enrolled for full-week care.
• Students may attend three mornings for the preschool educational program (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or five days a week for preschool and extended care.
• The preschool program follows the Saint Bernard Catholic School calendar.
• Bus service for North Spencer students is available.

Pre-Kindergarten (ages 4-5)

• Available to students ages 4-5 who are planning to attend Kindergarten the following year.
• Our Pre-K educational program takes place five days per week, 7:45-10:45 a.m., Monday – Friday (extended care is available)
• Extended care is available from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• The Pre-K program follows the Saint Bernard Catholic School calendar.
• Bus service for North Spencer students is available.

Extended Care

• Our extended care is available to our full-week Preschool and Pre-K students from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We have a limited number of spaces available in the extended care program for each class. Please call the office with questions.
• Our program is open when school is in session. We operate on the South Spencer School Corporation calendar. The first day of school is scheduled for August 12, 2020.
