Performance Assessments

Kindergarten through Grade Two

The Indiana Reading Diagnostic Assessment is used in kindergarten through grade two. Indicators show that most Saint Bernard students are in the Developing and Developed area.

Additionally, DIBELS Assessments are used in kindergarten through grade two. Teachers receive periodic training in DIBELS Assessments. This tool has been used since the 2007-2008 school year.

The reading level tests that accompany the Language Arts series are used to assess language and reading skills. Teacher-made tests and accompanying chapter tests are used in the other subject areas.
